Pacing is a risk control, not ban protection
Automating WhatsApp Web isn't officially supported. That's real terms-of-service risk and no tool — ours included — can remove it. Delays and validation reduce the odds; they don't buy immunity, and anyone promising “ban-proof” is selling you a feeling.
Who you message matters more than how
Numbers don't get banned for sending — they get banned for being reported. Message people who asked to hear from you and the risk stays low. Blast strangers and no delay setting will save you.
Your list stays yours
The list, the CSV and the sending all happen in your browser. There's no Wanova server in the middle of a broadcast, and we never see or store your contacts.
Our advice, against our own sales interest: if you're about to message a list that never opted in, don't. Use click-to-chat links, a QR on your packaging, or your existing customers instead — a smaller list that expects you beats a big one that reports you.

Can I send WhatsApp messages to people who aren't saved as contacts?
Yes — Wanova can open a chat with any valid number without saving it first. Whether you should is a different question: messaging people who never asked to hear from you is the fastest way to get reported, and reports are what get numbers banned.
Is bulk messaging on WhatsApp safe?
There's real risk and no tool can remove it. Automating WhatsApp Web isn't officially supported, so it carries terms-of-service risk. Our pacing and number validation are risk controls, not ban protection. What actually reduces risk is who you message: people expecting to hear from you, at a volume a person could plausibly send.
How many people can I message at once?
There's no cap on list size and no cap on campaigns — broadcasts are unlimited on every plan, Starter included. What paces a send is the delay between messages, which exists to keep you looking like a person rather than a script.
Can I personalize each message?
Yes. Variables pull each recipient's name and fields from your list or CSV, and spintax rotates wording so the same sentence isn't repeated verbatim. You can also attach photos, documents or a contact card, or reuse a saved template.
Where does my contact list go?
Nowhere. The list, the CSV and the sending all stay in your browser — there's no Wanova server in the middle of a broadcast. Only optional features you explicitly turn on, like AI or outgoing webhooks, ever send anything off your machine.
Do I need WhatsApp Business?
No. Broadcasts work on a personal number — nothing in Wanova needs a WhatsApp Business account.
