Sometimes — but only where you switched it on, and never quietly. By default it drafts: the co-pilot writes a reply into your composer and you press send. Two things do send by themselves once you enable them — keyword auto-replies (every plan) and AI auto-replies (Professional and up) — and even then the message sits in plain sight for about eight seconds before it goes: start typing in that chat and it's cancelled, you take over. The AI also turns work down: anything that reads like a negotiation, a quote or a complaint is handed to you instead of guessed at. Scheduled messages and broadcasts go out while you're away too, because that's what you set them up to do.
Only the chat you're working in, capped at the most recent 40 messages and 24,000 characters per request. AI features are off until you turn them on, and the extension shows you exactly what was sent. The request goes to Wanova's relay and is never stored.
By default, no. Broadcasts, templates, exports, keyword auto-replies, the follow-up radar and your customer notes all run in your browser, with no Wanova server in the middle. The exceptions are opt-in and say so in the UI: AI features and outgoing webhooks send the data you choose, to the destination you choose. We never store your chat contents.

Let's be straight with you: Wanova automates the WhatsApp Web you already use, which isn't something WhatsApp officially supports. That's real terms-of-service risk, and no tool — ours included — can remove it. Rate limiting and number validation are risk controls, not ban protection, and we won't pretend otherwise. What actually keeps risk low: message people who expect to hear from you, don't bulk-message strangers, and keep a human in the loop. That last one is the default here.
